My name is Bruce, and I'd like to share a 'gift' given too us by God who now has returned to His Kingdom.

All the dogs I've had in my life were outcast or rescues except for this one. Here is a glimpse of  our short lives. I was working for this company in Phoenix, Arizona that sent me on a delivery to Albuquerque New Mexico and being a recovering alcoholic, I went to a meeting before finding a motel. At this meeting I met a man and his wife that invited me to go to their home in the mountains, which I gladly accepted. While I was there I was introduced to their shepherd/husky bitch and her new litter of pups born on 2/11/92,all 13 of  'em. Well I'm sitin' there watchin' all these little critters running around and frolicking with their floppy ears, except for one that had ears standing straight up, and hung right next to me. They asked me if I wanted one of the pups but I was living in an apartment so I did not accept their offer even as much as I wanted to. Lo' and behold tho', God works in mysterious ways! Two weeks later the boss sent me back up there and my heart melted and I named her right then and there, Bandit!
I  rented a home shortly after my return and met a very dear lady named Lanny, who was in our lives a short time until cancer took her from us. Bandit and I loved her dearly, so I know they are together now. I found out I gave Bandit the right name that's for sure. I was spinin' wrenches on the scoot one day and reached down for a couple tools but couldn't find 'em anywhere. Well then I noticed my little Bandita wasn't around either and looking out into the backyard I saw my crescent wrench and screwdriver being neatly buried! Ha, Ha! There are so many memories like that it would make for a long, long, book. Needless to say she has brought  endless joy, comfort and hope into my life and to all those that have had the gift of knowing her.

Laid to rest 6/14/05,my deepest thanks to God for allowing these gifts in my life.

I love my Bandit.
